South Sudan

As-salam alaykum, (peace be with you in sudanese)

Previously we have been learning about South Sudan, Phil and Janet came to us to talk about South Sudan and all about it.


They told us all about the coins and money the money was very interesting so here is a picture of some coins:

Now I will list some facts that we learnt about South Sudan.

• In Sudan they don't have toilets they just have holes in the ground that they squat over

• The river Nile runs through Sudan

• There are 65 languages in Sudan

• There is a population of 500,000 people

• Some water is so deep underground that it is 150 meters to 200 meters

• In Sudan it is not safe to travel because if you walk people can take your stuff

• In Sudan they don't have electricity
