Bonjour, et que dieu vous benisse, Over the past week Rm 3 have been learning about Korfball. Korfball is a mix between Netball and Basketball, basically you have no positions, like basketball, but you are not allowed to run with the ball and your not allowed to bounce the ball, like netball.  Here are some pictures of some other classes: We had lots of fun playing games and shooting goals, it was a really good experience and I would like to try again. Je vous remercie pour lire mon blog. By Aurelia➶

Our Water Webinar

Image
Bonjour, Et que dieu vous benisse. This morning we participated in a webinar about water, and during that webinar I learned some stuff. here is that stuff: Native plants soak up nitrogen. Aquifers can never run out because the water cycle keeps going. Some water can be transferred from one stream to another. Salt water can be made into freshwater. Fossil water is water that is so deep underground that you can't reach it, and if you use it, it doesn't get replaced. We don't have it in NZ because our country isn't old enough.  NZ Agriculture are breeding animals that produce less Nitrogen. The whole thing was pretty cool we learnt some things that we didn't know before. Like some water can be transferred from one stream to another, and other information like that. Je vous remercie for reading my blog I hope you enjoyed it. Aurelia➶

Te Tuna

Te Tuna This is a picture of a urban eel, yesterday we went down to pioneer to study them. We studied them and I learnt that I could tell if one of them was a long finned eel or a short finned eel. You can tell if it was a long finned eel because if you bent it and it had wrinkles by its stomach, while if you bent the short finned eel it doesn't have wrinkles. Personally my favourite part was when I got to pat an eel. Also it was a nice walk back to school because it was a lot of exercise. Thank you for reading my blog, Aurelia
